What Changed in the New Syllabus? Effective February 2027
Networking හෝ Cybersecurity field එකේ ඉස්සරහට යන්න බලාපොරොත්තු වෙන ඕනෑම කෙනෙක්ට industry-recognized certification එකක් තිබීම අද කාලේ වැදගත් දෙයක් වෙලා තියෙනවා. ඒ අතරින් ලෝකයේම වැඩියෙන්ම ජනප්රිය networking certification එකක් තමයි Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
විශේෂයෙන්ම Network Engineer, System Administrator, Security Engineer හෝ IT Support role එකකට යන්න බලාපොරොත්තු වෙන අයට CCNA certification එක career foundation එකක් විදියට සලකනවා. Cisco certification portfolio එකේ CCNA සහ CCNP certifications දෙකම IT industry එකේ ඉතාමත් ජනප්රියයි.
2027 වසර සඳහා Cisco විසින් ඔවුන්ගේ CCNA 200-301 exam syllabus එක significant update එකකට ලක් කරලා තියෙනවා. මේ update එකත් එක්ක modules structure, topic weightage සහ modern networking technologies cover කරන විදිහ වෙනස් කරලා තියෙනවා. එහෙනම් බලමු CCNA v1.1 syllabus එක සහ අලුත් CCNA v2.0 syllabus එක අතර තියෙන ප්රධාන වෙනස්කම් මොනවාද කියලා.
Current CCNA v1.1
1. Network Fundamentals – 20%
මෙම section එක තුළ networking basic concepts cover කරනවා. OSI සහ TCP/IP Models, IPv4/IPv6 addressing, Ethernet concepts සහ network devices පිළිබඳ මූලික දැනුම මෙහි අඩංගු වෙනවා.
2. Network Access – 20%
Switching concepts, VLAN configuration, Inter-VLAN Routing, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), EtherChannel සහ Wireless LAN basics වැනි topics මෙම domain එක යටතේ ඉගෙන ගන්න වෙනවා.
3. IP Connectivity – 25%
Routing fundamentals, Static Routing, OSPF configuration සහ network-to-network communication methods මෙම domain එකේ ප්රධාන කොටස් වෙනවා.
